My father was right

An architect who has been deserted by his wife devotes himself to the sentimental education of his son Maurice, striving hard to pass on his own worldly selfishness. Several years later and after several affairs, Maurice falls in love with a young working girl that he doesn't dare marry because he fears she will betray him like his mother deceived his father.
