See you on September 11 for the Cine Party - The Party!

Some 35 years ago Claude Pinoteau gave Sophie Marceau the opportunity to play her first major role in a movie. Claude Brasseur, Brigitte Fossey and Denise Grey acted alongside her.

La Boum

It was the actor’s first international success, playing a fourteen-year-old high school student. Vic lives in Paris with her parents, but gets on best with her great-grandmother, Poupette. A dynamic elderly lady with very liberal ideas, Vic confides her feelings of joy and emotions with her, while her parents are lost in love’s misunderstanding.

To celebrate its 120th anniversary, Gaumont is inviting you to relive the magic of this film.
The Party reflects an entire generation, and has become a classic both for its plot and its soundtrack.
