Count Fernand de Bois d'Enghien is to marry Vivianne, the daughter of Madame de Verger. During the party where the marriage contract is to be signed, Fernand's mistress, Lucette Gauthier, shows up. She is a Veaudeville entertainer who has been hired for the evening. When the scandal becomes public knowledge, the marriage is called off. But all is not lost and comedy prevails.
