Pierrot and Pierrette sing in the street to support their ailing grandfather. A 'Lady' decides something should be done for the children and tries to place them in an orphanage. As this arrangement does not suit the children at all, they run away. After surviving the tough streets, they foil an attempted burglary at the lady's home. The grateful woman takes the children and their grandfather in.
