On Christmas Eve, Françoise, a manicurist in the luxurious Paris-Palace-Hotel, is invited to a party by Henri Delormel, an attractive fifty year old. Françoise later runs into Gerard. The young man pretends to own the Cadillac that he actually is just delivering to a customer. Françoise claims to be Miss Delormel. The double hoax ends with the hapless three spending an evening where mishaps keep piling up. A Christmas party that neither Delormel nor the young people will ever forget.
