Monsieur
Year of production 1990 Comedy . 90 min
In the tradition of Buster Keaton or Jacques Tati, Monsieur is a polite, but oddball charachter; He's easy to get along with and incapable of saying no to anything. He works in a tower. He lives with his fiancée's parents, even though she's left hom for another man. He types a long mineralogy tract for his neighbor, even though he's a real nuisance. His only response to the world's absurdity is the detached comment "They're still people" ... A satire on modern life from the screenwriter of John Lvoff's "The Bathroom".
