The Czar orders Michel Strogoff to convey an important message to the loyal population of Siberia where rebellion is brewing. But the traitor Ogareff captures the envoy, tortures, blinds and abandons him in the wild. Nadia, a young woman he met on his journey, guides him all the way to Siberia. Strogoff regains his sight, kills Ogareff, and restores peace.
