Scathing humor is the tone for these two stories relating the misfortunes of two men imprisoned in their married life. In one story, the wife forces her poor crippled husband to hatch eggs. In the other, a man leading a humdrum life with his bitter wife, his mentally retarded son and spinster sister, lives in the expectation of something that will change his life.
