Young Romanian student Nana and her boyfriend Stephan plan to marry next week along the Danube delta. On their trip, Nan has the urge to stop at the hairdresser's in Mamaia. Stephan continues on the promise that Nana will join him later. Left alone, Nana is seduced by beatnik Balthazar, driver for a famous rock group.
Nana enjoys a whole new world of adventure and music until memories of Stephan reserface...
