After a gay night on the town, doctor Montgicourt returns home with Mistress Moll, the Queen of Chez Maxim. General Petypon invites them to his castle for a party celebrating his niece's engagement to Lieutenant Corrignon, Moll's acknowledged lover. During the party, Moll wreaks havoc, but the muddle eventually gets cleared up during a wild night at Maxim. Based on Georges Feydeau's play.
