One night, Michel doesn't come home. He has spent the night with Madeleine, three years his senior, with whom he is head over heels in love. Until they met, Madeleine had been the mistress of a man in his fifties. The somewhat neurotic mother, Yvonne, almost incestuous love on her son, Michel is overwrought with worry... and jealousy.
The father, Georges, agrees to meet her and convinces his wife to go along with the meeting. At that moment he doesn't suspect that the young woman is his mistress.
