Mysterious deaths in a dance school leave its instructor, retired dance world figure Alan Wold, as the number one suspect. Some students worship Wolf to the point that they become suicidally depressive beacuse of their artistic shortcomings. One student actually dances herself to death outside Wolf's home. As the deaths accumulate, Inspector Eparvier is called in to investigate. Is Wolf really responsible for his students deaths ?
