After a long ocean journey, Roland disembarks in Barcelona. After finding a body in his hotel, he suddenly wakes up in a strange clinic with no idea how he got there. He is told that he has been hallucinating. But several days later, he finds evidence that he has not been dreaming. He meets several people involved in the affair and recovers a mysterious briefcase. Sonia, Roland's wife who has joined him in Spain, is kidnapped.
