Odile tells her friends, Frantz and Arthur, how her uncle cheating the tax authorities hid an important amount of money. Frantz and Arthur decide to steal it. But things backfire and they only end up with a small amount. Arthur is killed, the uncle takes back his money while Frantz leaves with Odile for South America.
