This film analyzes the evolution of a young woman, a Marxist militant and the contradictions between the Marxist ideology and the" Bourgeoise" ideology which still remains in her life. A voice-over, true voice of the political consciousness, closely examines the life of this young woman. Shot in 1969 by the Dziga Vertov Group (Jean-Luc Godard et Jean-Pierre Gorin), this film is a fine example of the political period of Godard's cinema.
