Two young comedy writers rejuvenate the career of aging TV comic Gaetan. Gaetan's new success earns him an offer to play the lead in a serious feature film. Before he can hesitate, his wife forces him to accept in hopes of reaching a higher social and economic standing. An upset for Gaetan's writers and soon enough for Gaetan himself as the film project doesn't turn out to be what he expected.
