12-years-old, Marie is a promising violonist but she suffers from a degenerative eye disease... She will have to live in the dark. Her parents want to board her at an Institute for the blind. But Marie wants to compete at the entrance exam for a prestigious music school. She decides to hide the acceleration of her disease to her parents and uses the pretext of helping Victor, the class dunce, with his homework to get him to help her. Little by little Victor becomes Marie's eyes.
