Loyal farm worker Antonin is devastated when his boss tells him his favorite old horse Ulysses has been sold. Tired old Ulysses must now go from a life of hard farm work to participating in bullfights. Antonin leaves everything and takes off with Ulysses, intent on releasing the horse to run free in a national park in the south of France. The road to safety and freedom offers many adventures along the way...
