Two brothers, Marc and Yves Toledano, are imprisoned and tortured by the Bourges Guestapo for being members of the Resistance. A German soldier miraculously comes to their rescue, manages to snatch Marc from the Gestapo and make contact with the Resistance to get Yves liberated. At the Liberation, during the debacle, the German soldier decides to be with his fellow soldiers. Based on Marc Toledano's novel.
