François has left his wife and children to live with Catherine. He is an energetic athletic fifty years old, hopping between his Saint-Cloud apartment and his dentist's office. He has resolved to stay young above all and liberally agrees to his young girlfriend having a lover her own age. But a very simple accident throws a monkey-wrench into his happy, carefree life. François suddenly feels his age. He breaks up with Catherine and tries in vain, to get back together with his wife.
