There are frequent flare-ups between Victoire and Bertrand: Victoire throws Bertrand out. He moves into his office, perfectly happy to be single again. His friend and associate Richard comes to join him after a fight with his wife. The two friends manage an advertising agency. Their client and friend Lucien has problems at home too. They take Lucien in at the agency. The threesome organize their lives as bachelors, and Lucien begins to enjoy life again.
