A Brittany fisherman finds a man washed ashore. The fisherman's daughter cares for the man, who has lost his memory. Chance brings the man to the studios of Radio Monte Carlo, where he is discovered for his singing talent. He becomes known as the "Unknown Singer". But who is he really ? Little by little, he begins to remember his true identity.
