Reluctantly caught in the web of the secret service, the young Central European woman becomes a famous dancer, touring the capitals of Europe in search of military intelligence. In 1917, she is arrested, sentenced to death and executed in Paris despite the zealous defense of her lawyer who has fallen in love with her.
