Daïnah, a mestiza, is travelling with her husband on a luxurious ocean liner where she exerts her strange, exotic and unsettling charms. One night, on a deserted deck she has fun teasing a mechanic, then bites him hard to get rid of him. The next day, Daïnah disappears overboard. The investigation doesn't seem to be getting anywhere so her husband, who has divined the truth, takes the law into his own hands.
