Two sisters, Danielle and Nicole, are both in love with Jean, a young Parisian doctor. He decides to marry Danielle but the fickle flirt soon deserts her home. Jean takes refuge in Nicole's arms, making the young woman deliriously happy. But the death of the young women's father is an opportunity for the divided spouses to make up. Nicole realizes she has no place in their lives and finds solace with a young veterinarian who has always loved her.
