Get your passports ready... Mexico, here we come!

This Mexican leg of the journey follows the Parisian exhibition that took place in 2015 and which was then taken around the world, including Singapore, Japan and recently Canada, with the collection now arriving in Mexico.
This traveling exhibition definitely reflects the early days of cinema, which used to be housed in tents and circuses to facilitate travel on the roads. We are happy to see that despite the industry’s evolution, the cinema continues to journey down this path.

As such, from April 10 to June 30, 2019 the exhibition unveils its charms in the captivating setting of Mexico City, before heading to heart of the country to Morelia, the capital of the state of Michoacán de Ocampo. In October 2019, visitors will be able to experience the exhibition at the Morelia International Film Festival. Mexico once again showcases the world's affinity for French cinema.

For this project Gaumont has partnered with the Cineteca Nacional and thus have collaborated with the French Institute of Latin America (IFAL) and the French Embassy in Mexico.
