Quirin Schmidt studied philosophy, art history and classical archaeology in Munich, Bamberg and Helsinki. Aer teaching for several years, he moved to teamWorx TV & Film as a junior producer, then later to Bavaria Film. Aer further staons, among others in the television directorate of Bayerischer Rundfunk, he started in 2016 to help build up the in-house producons at Sky Deutschland. At Sky, he was responsible from the beginning for the development and producon of the series "Der Pass" for which he was awarded the Grimme Prize and the German Television Award.
