Synopsis :
Christine Jourdan, an esteemed sculptress, makes up a lover called Nicolas to get rid of her agent Ancelin. She later marries Jacques, who becomes jealous of her alleged lover. So when the newspapers report that a certain Nicolas has died, Christine takes the opportunity to announce her "lover"'s death. However, the Nicolas in question was murdered by a woman and, as Jacques and Ancelin suspect Christine of the crime, they start acting in the most outlandish way.
