Synopsis : Lyon, 1943. En la Francia ocupada durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial, el teniente Fontaine (François Leterrier) es detenido por el ejército alemán. Tras un intento frustrado de fuga del convoy que le conduce a prisión es encarcelado y, muy pronto, condenado a muerte. Sin desfallecer, Fontaine dedicará su tiempo de reclusión a preparar minuciosamente su fuga. Para ello contará con sus manos y las herramientas que su exigua celda y el azar le proporcionen.

Synopsis : Manon, une jeune femme très riche, demande à un homme désargenté de jouer auprès d'elle le rôle d'ami généreux. Celle-ci lui trouve un remplaçant, mais ce dernier la ruinera. Manon retrouvera alors Pierre enrichi et l'aimant toujours.
