Synopsis :  Pierre is so discouraged by his failure as a pianist that he decides to commit suicide. During one of his many attempts, he saves young Caroline, a depressed singer, from drowning. Since Pierre keeps botching his own suicides, he hires a contract killer. Meanwhile, the press has gotten hold of Pierre and Caroline's story and turned them into stars. They start to enjoy life again in the spotlight of success. But the killers have contract-terms to meet and are hot on Pierre's trail.

Synopsis :  Carlo Levi, a writer, painter and doctor, is sentenced to three years house arrest in a remote town in Lucania because of his stand against fascism. Synopsis :  Alfred is asked to play dead by a criminal gang, headed by a certain Mister K., so they can use his corpse to smuggle diamonds into Istanbul. Alfred refuses to go along the plan and escapes Mr. K.'s gang only to be captured by the bandit Kruger who wants to get his hands on the jacket with the hidden diamonds. Alfred is just a plaything kidnapped first by one gang and then by the other in a merry-go-round of lost and found. The police eventually get wind of what is going on and save Alfred.
