Marion Walsh began her career in the marketing department of Twentieth Century Fox as a non-media promotion manager for the French market. She has worked on major animation franchises for Blue Sky Studios (Ice Age, Rio, etc.), LucasFilms Ltd. and on features for the independent label Fox Searchlight (Black Swan).
She joined Gaumont in 2012 as Head of Media and Non-Media Cinema. In 2014, she became Cinema, Video and Digital Project Manager and worked on successful projects such as C'est La Vie (Le Sens de la Fête) and See You Up There (Au Revoir Là Haut). After contributing to more than 100 film releases at the French studio, Marion Walsh was appointed Marketing Director at Gaumont Distribution in October 2019. Today, she and her team determine the strategies for the release of films on the big screen and oversee the development of all creative elements and campaigns in media, non-media, social media, theaters and eRP. She has developed marketing strategies for films such as The Specials (Hors Normes), Bye Bye Morons (Adieu les cons), Simply Black (Tout Simplement Noir) and Lost Illusions (Illusions Perdues).
