Alexis Cassanet began his career in 2010 as an international salesman at SND, the distribution subsidiary of Groupe M6.

As part of the company, Alexis was involved in the international rollout of acclaimed films such as Yves Saint Laurent, The Bélier Family (La Famille Bélier) and What Happened to Monday (Seven Sisters).

He joined Gaumont in 2016 as Co-director of International Distribution where he was involved in major French works such as C’est La Vie (Le Sens de La Fête), Leap! (Ballerina), Bye Bye Morons (Adieu les Cons) and Lost Illusions (Illusions Perdues) among others.

Since 2020, he has been in charge of the distribution and international sales of Gaumont films, including the management of remake rights and international co-productions.
