Synopsis :  Paris, in the present day. Hastily painted mysterious symbols are appearing on the doors of apartment buildings all over the city. The rumor of a plague epidemic is spreading through the capital like wildfire. The first body bearing all the symptoms of the terrible scourge is soon discovered. Commissaire Adamsberg, an unusual, intuitive policeman, recently appointed as the head of the Crime Squad, is put in charge of the investigation.

Synopsis :  Nancy 1939, Jeanne épouse un lieutenant d'infanterie : Louis. Louis est prisonnier de guerre durant cinq ans. Il découvre que Jeanne l'a trompé. Il lui pardonne. Jeanne accouche de jumeaux à Noël. Ils partent pour Berlin où Jeanne tombe éperdument amoureuse d'un Allemand : Mathias. Louis doit partir pour l'Indochine, tandis que Jeanne rentre à Paris, avec Mathias. Elle décide de l'épouser mais sa famille s'y oppose en l'empêchant de voir ses enfants.
