Synopsis :  L'ex gangster Antoine Berreto ha ormai tirato i remi in barca. Synopsis :  La trentenne Anna Heymes è sposata con uno dei più alti funzionari del Ministero dell'Interno. Da più di un mese, soffre di allucinazioni terrificanti e regolari crisi di amnesia, che l'hanno portata a non poter riconoscere più il volto di suo marito e a dubitare della sua onestà. Durante questo periodo, nel decimo arrondissement, a Paul Nerteaux, spietato capo di polizia, viene affidata un'indagine che riguarda la morte di tre donne di origine turca, che lavoravano in atelier clandestini e i cui corpi sono stati ritrovati mutilati atrocemente. Per infiltrarsi tra la popolazione turca del quartiere, Nerteaux può solo fare appello a Jean-Louis Schiffer, uno dei suoi ex colleghi conosciuto per la sua reputazione di poliziotto implacabile.
