Synopsis : Tartuffe, un escroc qui se fait passer pour un dévot, s'installe au foyer du riche bourgeois Orgon. Toute la famille s'insurge contre l'autorité prise par cet inconnu et met en doute sa bonne foi. Mais Orgon, étrangement aveuglé, s'obstine dans son erreur et décide de déshériter les siens au profit de son unique confident. Après l'avoir interprété sur les planches, Gérard Depardieu réalise ce film d'après la pièce immortelle de Molière, dont il démontre ainsi la modernité intacte.

Synopsis : Half-brothers Joël and Régis share a West Indian father whom they barely know. When he is dying, the two very different brothers go to him.
