Synopsis :  Eigentlich hätte Chloé (Olivia Ruiz) allen Grund, glücklich zu sein. Sie hat nicht nur ihren Traummann Stephen (Jamie Bamber) gefunden, sie wird den Ex-Tennis-Profi und erfolgreichen Geschäftsmann auch bald heiraten. Aber wer soll der Brautvater sein, der sie zum Altar führt? In Chloés Fall ein äußerst kniffliges Problem. Gleich zwei Kandidaten stehen zur Wahl, die die Vaterschaft für sich reklamieren. Einerseits ihr leiblicher Vater Bernard (Francois Berléand), ein steifer Großindustrieller und Zwangsneurotiker aus Leidenschaft, den Chloè nie kennengelernt hat, da sie das Kind einer lang zurückliegenden Sommerliebe ist. Andererseits der Tunichtgut Gustave (Gérard Jugnot), der sie großgezogen hat. Der hat zwar ein großes Herz, trinkt aber öfter mal einen über den Durst. Auch wenn weder der eine noch der andere Chloés Vorstellungen vom idealen Vater entspricht, muss sie sich entscheiden. Sonst fällt die Hochzeit ins Wasser.

Synopsis :  Nell'Inghilterra degli inizi del XIX secolo, le tre sorelle Brontë, Charlotte, Emily e Anne si dedicano assiduamente alla scrittura, mentre il fratello Brandwell dipinge. Quest'ultimo è affranto da dispiaceri amorosi che consola con alcol, droga e che infine lo uccidono. Emily pubblica i suoi testi ma poco dopo muore di tubercolosi, poco prima della morte di sua sorella Anne. Unica sopravvissuta, Charlotte, conoscerà il successo letterario e sposerà il vicario di suo padre.

Synopsis :  Victor débarque à Paris sans un sou en poche. Il fait la connaissance de Gisèle, figurante dans un music-hall. Toutes les ruses et tous les stratagèmes sont bons pour gravir les échelons professionnels, successivement vendeur de programmes, secrétaire puis associé, Victor supplante finalement son directeur. Synopsis :  In the French army used a brutal technique in its attempt to prevent mutinies by its increasingly disaffected soldiers. After lining a unit up on parade, one randomly chosen soldier would be required to step forward and he would be shot, as an example to the others that refusal to fight would not be tolerated. he would go down on the record books as having been a traitor to his country. The general known as "the butcher of Hurlus" was particularly enthusiastic in his use of this technique. This film is an adaptation of Jean amila's novel Le Boucher des Hurlus. The story, set in the aftermath of the war, concerns Michel a young man orphaned in this manner. He lives with his mother until she collapses under the wave of vituperation from the women in her community, who consider her murdered husband to have been a traitor. When he is sent to an orphanage, he discovers that many children in it are there for the same reason he is. Michel decides to escape his captivity and kill the general who ordered his father's death. He and the other children llike him are able to get away from the orphanage, in the course of their journeys, they tour the grim battlefields of the recent war. Together, they return to Paris, determined to exact their revenge.

Synopsis :  Jacques Decret, ricco industriale, scopre che sua moglie Gloria lo tradisce con un giovane attore.
