Synopsis :  Christian Bergas loves Janette, but his father wants him to marry a rich provincial heiress. So a friend suggests that Christian introduces Janette to his father as a reliable young girl who could be his secretary. The friend, meanwhile, tries to charm aunt Béatrice so she will take Christian's side in the quarrel with his father. The father's first reaction is anger, but he finally gives in and keeps the charming secretary he can no longer live without.

Synopsis :  In Paris during the Roaring Twenties, Mephisto introduces a cabaret singer to Doctor Faust. To win her love, Faust sells his soul to the devil in exchange for youth and beauty. In a jealous rage, he kills the young lady's former lover.
