Synopsis :
Thanos, a young Greek shepherd is hounded by his village because the animals in his herd are dying from a mysterious disease. He wants to marry Despina, the daughter of a tyrannical landowner who forces her to accept another suitor. The population accuses Thanos of all their misfortune.
