Synopsis :  Annette célèbre les fiançailles de sa fille, en vue d'un mariage de raison. Trois fantômes se mêlent à la fête, le premier qui fut le mari d'Annette et le deuxième son amant, la jugent responsable de leur triste fin. Le troisième leur montre l'origine de leurs vies gâchées : il fut son seul amour qu'on ne lui a pas permis d'épouser. Les trois fantômes réussiront à persuader Annette de permettre à sa fille de rejoindre l'homme qu'elle aime.

Synopsis :  Raymond, a locomotive engineer, has an accident that burns his eyes. A doctor tells him he might recover his sight. Raymond becomes a boarder at a home for the blind where he meets Louise, the blind Braille teacher. She is engaged to the bursar who in a jealous rage tells Raymond that he is incurable. Devastated, Raymond tries to commit suicide but is saved. He goes back to the home where Louise rekindles his hope and reason for living.

A vingt ans, puis à trente ans et enfin à quarante ans, Agnès donnera ces trois bagues à un unique et seul homme, un compositeur et violoniste de génie qui, rongé par le tourment, semble gâcher sa vie à plaisir.

Synopsis :  Police Chief Ledru, often subject to bouts of nausea takes a series of medical tests and becomes certain that someone is trying to poison him with arsenic. He proceeds by elimination, suspecting each member of his family in turn, in the hopes of discovering the hidden motives of the real assassin. However he accidentally finds out that he has just been the victim of an accident. His relatives forgive him for unfairly suspecting them.

Synopsis :  Libero adattamento di un romanzo di Curzio Malaparte, il film è ambientato nel 1943. Napoli viene liberata dalle truppe americane e in quest'epoca turbolenta, vincitori e vinti si scontrano. Le donne si prostituiscono, le madri svendono i propri figli, i prigionieri tedeschi si scambiano a prezzo d'oro. Quest'importante affresco fa rivivere tutta la crudeltà di alcuni eventi storici tragici legati all'ultima guerra e testimonia l'incontro di due culture diverse: una anglosassone e l'altra partenopea.
