Synopsis :  Véra, jeune comtesse russe ruinée, vit de petites escroqueries aidée de deux complices, Desormeaux et Paulo. Un nommé Glorin est leur future cible. Mais Véra se laisse prendre au jeu de la séduction et tombe amoureuse de cet homme. Elle abandonne ses acolytes et dissimulant son ancienne vie, accepte d'épouser Glorin. Le couple mène une vie heureuse, jusqu'au jour où Desormeaux et Paulo réapparaissent dans la vie de Véra. Elle devra alors faire face à son passé au risque de perdre son bonheur.

Synopsis :  Henri a une femme ravissante, Sophie. Synopsis :  Hollywood, 1942: the assassination of three actors playing in a movie being shot at the Empire Studios throws the whole production topsy-turvy. The producer hands the investigation over to his screenwriters who immediately come up with a list of suspects. Synopsis :  Henri Verdier raconte à son épouse Thérèse comment sa première femme l'a trompé avec un sosie, et sa deuxième avec un sultan. Un soir, rentrant inopinément chez lui, il découvre Thérèse dans les bras d'un cardinal. Celui-ci, usant de l'autorité du costume, convainc Henri d'accepter ce troisième adultère.
