Synopsis : Janin, jeune prêtre missionnaire, travaille à Pigalle où il espère sauver quelques âmes. Se heurtant dans son action à Maurice, maître de la prostitution montmartroise, il est aidé par Josy, une prostituée indépendante. Celle-ci s'éprend de Janin qui la repousse. Pour se venger, elle fait entrer dans le milieu une jeune protégée du prêtre. Finalement, Josy sera prise de remords et quand Maurice voudra obtenir l'adresse de Janin pour le punir, elle refusera de le trahir, même devant la mort.
