Synopsis : Isabelle de Santos est invitée à Venise par un ami milliardaire. Elle promène avec elle une mallette contenant les diamants hérités de son mari défunt. Ces bijoux attirent l'attention d'une bande d'escrocs menée par un barman de grande classe. Celui-ci décide d'utiliser un jeune peintre, en le faisant passer pour un prince oriental, afin de séduire Isabelle, l'épouser et ainsi entrer en possession des diamants. Le mariage se fera, mais les deux jeunes gens tomberont amoureux et la passion triomphera.
