Synopsis : París. Hace varios meses que una banda de atracadores funciona con total impunidad, haciendo gala de una violencia poco habitual. El director de la Policía Judicial, Robert Mancini, no puede ser más claro con dos de sus comisarios, Léo Vrinks jefe de la BRI y Denis Klein jefe de la BRB: el que consiga atrapar a la banda le sustituirá y se convertirá en el gran jefe del 36, Quai des Orfèvres, sede de la Policía Judicial. La guerra queda declarada entre los dos policías, antaño amigos, pero a los que ahora separan sus vidas, sus métodos, sus equipos y una mujer, Camille Vrinks.
