Synopsis :  Deux enfants, Pierrot et Pierrette, chantent dans la rue afin de subvenir aux besoins de leur grand-père malade. Une " grande dame " se met en tête de s'occuper de leur cas et tente de les placer dans un orphelinat. Les deux enfants fuient cette éventualité. Après avoir été victimes de la dure loi de la rue, ils finissent par déjouer un cambriolage visant la " grande dame ". Celle-ci, reconnaissante, recueillera les enfants ainsi que leur grand-père.

Synopsis :  Nach drei Kurzgeschichten des französischen Schriftstellers Guy de Maupassant inszenierte Max Ophüls 1952 den opulenten Episodenfilm 'Pläsier' rund um das Thema Lust und Leid. Im ersten Teil 'Die Maske' nimmt ein Greis im Jugendwahn unter der Maske eines jungen Schönlings an rauschenden Festen teil. 'Das Haus Tellier' erzählt von der Eigentümerin eines Bordells, die mit ihren Mädchen ein Kirchenfest besucht - sehr zum Unmut der Junggesellen im Ort. In 'Das Modell' verliebt sich ein Künstler in selbiges und stürzt sie beide damit in eine Tragödie.
