The hunters become the hunted.
The Hunt, a thrilling new series that explores the line between justice and revenge
Starting December 3, discover The Hunt (“Traqués”), an intense new French thriller in six episodes, created and directed by Cédric Anger (Next Time I’ll Aim for the Heart).
The series brings together two major names in French cinema: Benoît Magimel (Pacifiction, The Taste of Things) and Mélanie Laurent (Inglourious Basterds, Wingwomen).
A Gripping Manhunt
Every weekend, Franck (Benoît Magimel) goes hunting with his friends. But one day, the group is suddenly attacked by another band of hunters, without explanation. One of them is injured. They fight back and manage to escape. To avoid trouble, they remain silent. Yet what first appeared to be an isolated incident quickly takes a darker turn: they feel watched… and soon, hunted.
Balancing psychological tension and survival thriller, The Hunt plunges viewers into a chilling spiral where the threat lurks everywhere — even at home.
A Stellar Cast and a Gaumont Production
Alongside Magimel and Laurent, the cast features Damien Bonnard, Manuel Guillot, Angelyna Danabe-Mignot, Cédric Appietto, Paul Beaurepaire, Frédéric Maranber and Patrick De Vallette. The series is produced by Isabelle Degeorges, Clémentine Vaudaux, Alexis Barqueiro and Sidonie Dumas for Gaumont, a historic player in cinema and television in France and worldwide.
An Apple TV+ Exclusive
The Hunt premieres December 3 on Apple TV+, with the first two episodes available at launch, followed by a new episode every Wednesday through December 31, 2025.
