Synopsis :  'Guinguette', a former prostitute, has finally fulfilled a lifelong dream by buying an open-air café on the outskirts of Paris. She lives there with a friend and her daughter, Maryse. Guinguette falls in love with Marco, a petty car thief. One of Marco's buddies hides a stolen Jaguar in the young woman's café. Maryse discovers the car and tries to blackmail Marco. The next morning, the drowned body of Maryse is discovered.

Synopsis :  Pour échapper à un scandale, un jeune avocat s'engage dans la Légion étrangère. Quelques années plus tard, il croit retrouver en Hélèna, une prostituée amnésique, la femme pour laquelle il a tout sacrifié, Sylvia. Libre de son engagement envers la légion, il s'apprête à repartir pour la France avec Hélèna. C'est alors qu'il croise Sylvia, réalisant le mirage de son amour pour Hélèna, il l'abandonne et repart au combat, en dépit de la prédiction d'une voyante qui lui a annoncé sa mort.

Synopsis :  Caroline est devenue la femme du général de Sallanche, chef de la garnison française de Côme. Légère et insouciante, elle remarque très vite le beau danseur Livio. Mais une révolte l'oblige à se cacher avec son mari, chez une comtesse qui n'hésite pas à dévoiler ses charmes. Furieuse, Caroline s'enfuit pour rejoindre Livio, chef des insurgés. Le danseur lui propose de partir en Autriche avec lui mais, repentante, Caroline reconnaît que tout cela n'était qu'un caprice de femme jalouse.
