Synopsis :  Eugenio, dix ans, vit chez sa grand-mère depuis la séparation de ses parents, Giancarlo et Fernanda. Il doit partir en voyage à Londres avec son père, et sur la route de l'aéroport, il ne cesse d'agacer le conducteur. Excédé, ce dernier l'abandonne au bord de la route. La police est alertée et durant les recherches, Giancarlo et Fernanda revivent leur passé. Ils prennent alors conscience de ne jamais avoir été de vrais parents pour leur fils.

Synopsis :  Am 30. Januar 1889 werden in Mayerling Marie Vetsera und Erzherzog Rudolf, einziger Sohn des Kaisers von Österreich, tot aufgefunden. Franz-Ferdinand, der Neffe des Kaisers, erbt die Krone. Mit seinen besonders liberalen Ideen gerät er oft mit seinem Onkel aneinander. Er verliebt sich in Sophie, eine junge tschechische Gräfin. Zunächst widerstrebend stimmt der Kaiser schließlich ihrer Vermählung zu, unter der Bedingung, dass ihre Kinder das Reich nicht erben. Am 28. Juni 1914 wird das Paar in Sarajevo von einem Anarchisten ermordet.

Synopsis :  Bored with her husband and their provincial life, Albertine goes to Paris where her friend Cecile introduces her to all the Paris socialites. They spend time together but the young man goes off to write his novel. The young woman's life becomes a giddy dance between lovers and disappointment.

Synopsis :  1897, Paris in the `Belle Epoque'. Edmond Rostand is a playwright of potential genius. Unfortunately, all he has written until now has been a flop. He is paralyzed by the sight of a blank page and his inspiration has dried up. Thanks to his admirer Sarah Bernhardt, he is approached by the greatest actor of the day, Constant Coquelin, who absolutely insists on playing in his next play. And he wants to premiere it in three weeks! The only problem: Edmond has not yet written it, and has no idea what story he will tell. All he knows is its title: Cyrano de Bergerac.
